Large‑diameter steel pipe generally refers to outer diameter ≥ 406 mm (16 inch) carbon‑steel pipe, we supply 3 core categories:

• LSAW Pipe (Longitudinal Submerged‑Arc Welded Pipe)

  Process: JCOE / UOE forming, double‑sided submerged‑arc welding

  Best‑fit: High‑pressure oil & gas trunk pipeline, offshore project, heavy‑load piling

  OD: 406 mm‑1626 mm

   

• SSAW / HSAW Pipe (Spiral Submerged‑Arc Welded Pipe)

  Process: Steel coil spiral forming + SAW welding

  Best‑fit: Water‑supply, drainage, sewage, low‑pressure fluid transmission, civil piling

  OD: 219 mm‑3500 mm (extra‑large diameter available)

   

• Large‑diameter Seamless Steel Pipe (SMLS)

  Process: Hot rolling / hot extrusion, no weld seam

  Best‑fit: High‑pressure, high‑temperature industrial service

  Max common OD: 660 mm‑914 mm

• Brisk Steel Recommendation: High‑pressure energy pipeline → choose LSAW; Large‑volume water infrastructure / piling → choose SSAW, more cost‑effective.

• Outer Diameter (OD): 219 mm ~ 3500 mm
• Wall Thickness (WT): 5 mm‑75 mm
• Length: 6m, 9m, 12m standard random length; fixed cut‑length 3‑48 m available
• Pipe end: Plain end / Beveled end (30° bevel for field welding); bevelling protection ring optional
• Dimensional tolerance: Strictly follow API‑5L, EN, ASTM tolerance requirements for OD, wall thickness, straightness, ovality

• Raw material: High-standard carbon steel plate with stable chemical composition, low impurity, guaranteed strength and toughness
• Forming process: Advanced JCOE cold forming technology, no internal damage to steel structure
• Welding process: Double-sided multi-pass submerged arc welding, full weld penetration, weld strength consistent with base metal
• Cold expanding: Eliminate residual stress, ensure precise pipe roundness and straightness
• Full NDT inspection: 100% Ultrasonic Testing (UT), 100% Radiographic Testing (RT), Hydrostatic Test, Bend test, Charpy impact test

LSAW Pipe (Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded Pipe)

• Production Feature: Manufactured by JCOE / UOE cold forming process, single steel plate forming, double-sided submerged arc welding, and full cold expanding. It features high roundness, low residual stress, stable weld performance and strict dimensional tolerance.
• OD Range: 406mm – 1626mm
• Main Application Fields:

1. High-pressure long-distance onshore oil and gas trunk pipelines (API 5L PSL2)
2. Offshore / subsea pipeline projects
3. River, railway and highway crossing pipeline sections
4. Heavy-duty foundation piling for bridges, ports, offshore platforms and high-rise buildings
5. Low-temperature region gas & oil transmission projects requiring Charpy impact test (-20℃ / -40℃)
6. Thick-wall high-pressure process pipelines for refinery and energy stations
7. Not suitable for: Ultra-large diameter and low-pressure general water pipeline projects (high cost performance ratio).

SSAW Pipe (Spiral Submerged Arc Welded Pipe)

• Production Feature: Formed by steel coil continuous spiral rolling and double-sided submerged arc welding. It supports ultra-large diameter production with low cost and high production efficiency.
• OD Range: 219mm – 3500mm
• Main Application Fields:

1. Municipal large-diameter water supply, drainage and sewage trunk pipelines
2. Long-distance water diversion, irrigation and flood control projects
3. General construction foundation piling, bridge piling, steel casing and cofferdam projects (ASTM A252)
4. Low-pressure urban gas distribution network and secondary branch pipelines
5. Dredging pipelines, tailing slurry and mine conveying pipelines
6. Large-scale civil infrastructure projects with budget control
7. Not suitable for: High-pressure main gas pipelines, subsea pipelines and critical low-temperature energy projects.

SMLS Seamless Steel Pipe

• Production Feature: Hot rolled / hot extruded from solid steel billet, no weld seam. It owns the highest pressure resistance and structural stability.
• OD Range: Max regular production OD ≤ 914mm
• Main Application Fields:

1. High-temperature and high-pressure process pipelines for chemical plants, refineries and power stations
2. Boiler tubes, superheated steam pipelines and high-pressure hydraulic pipelines
3. Oilfield wellhead pipelines and high-pressure gathering lines
4. Sour service and corrosive medium industrial pipelines
5. High-pressure fertilizer and petrochemical equipment piping systems
6. Not suitable for: Large-diameter long-distance fluid transmission projects due to extremely high cost and limited production capacity.
