Brief Introduction to JCOE Manufacturing Process
JCOE refers to J bending → C bending → O forming → E cold expanding

Plate preparation: Steel plates are edge-milled to form welding grooves, with surface flaw detection carried out in advance.

JCO Forming (the working station in the photo): The heavy hydraulic press manufactured by TZCO (Taiyuan Heavy Industry) bends flat steel plates into cylindrical tube blanks through segmented precise pressing. This method delivers better roundness and wall thickness uniformity than traditional rolled pipes.

Tack welding & inner/outer submerged arc welding: Temporary tack welds fix the tube shape, then full penetration submerged arc welding is applied on both inner and outer seams for excellent tightness and mechanical strength.

Cold Expanding (E): Full-length mechanical expanding calibrates dimensional tolerance and relieves welding residual stress.

Strict inspection: 100% UT/RT weld inspection + hydrostatic pressure test + pipe end bevel processing before finished delivery.
