Manufacturing Process
- Manufactured in accordance with the EN 10210 standard for hot-finished hollow sections (distinct from standard EN 10219 cold-formed tubes), the S355J2H (1.0576) grade utilizes a hot-forming process that eliminates residual welding stresses. The material features a uniform microstructure and offers fatigue and vibration resistance far superior to that of cold-formed tubes.
- With a Charpy impact strength of ≥27 J at -20°C, the structure remains resistant to low-temperature brittle fracture in frigid regions (such as Northern Europe, Eastern Europe, and mountainous areas in Turkey during winter). Mechanical properties include a yield strength of 355 MPa, tensile strength of 510–680 MPa, and elongation of ≥22%, ensuring suitability for heavy-load applications and resistance to cracking during bending operations.
- Chemical composition-specifically carbon, sulfur, and phosphorus levels-is strictly controlled. The base metal and weld seam exhibit excellent compatibility, ensuring zero cracking during full-penetration field welding and making the material ideal for high-altitude on-site assembly.

Q: Which inspection certificates can Brisk Steel provide for EN 10210 S355J2H LSAW pipes?
A: We supply EN 10204 3.1 mill certificate as standard. Third-party 3.2 certification by SGS, BV, TÜV is available upon request. Full test records include chemical composition, tensile test, -20℃ impact test, dimensional check and non-destructive welding inspection. CE certification is complete for European market access.
Q: How do you control pipe straightness, roundness and dimensional tolerance?
A: Products strictly comply with tolerance requirements of EN 10210-2. After welding, overall hot straightening and rounding treatment are adopted. Wall thickness tolerance is controlled within ±5%, with low ovality. Flange assembly and truss splicing do not require secondary trimming on site to save construction labor costs.
Q: Can you cut fixed lengths and process bevels as per customers'drawings?
A: Yes. Custom fixed lengths (6m / 12m / 18m or non-standard length) and V-type bevel processing are supported in our workshop. Pre-processing before delivery allows direct hoisting and welding after customers receive goods.
