- Hot-Rolled MILD STEEL RHS Production Process
It is produced by heating mild steel above its recrystallization temperature (around 1000°C) first, then rolling the heated steel into rectangular hollow sections through a continuous forming process and high-frequency internal welding.
The high-temperature heating makes the steel more malleable, allowing it to be easily shaped into the required rectangular hollow structure during the rolling process.
- Cold-Rolled MILD STEEL RHS Production Process
It is manufactured by rolling mild steel at room temperature, without any heating treatment before rolling. The steel is directly processed into rectangular hollow sections through cold rolling and forming processes.
Since it is processed at normal temperature, the steel maintains higher hardness and dimensional stability during the forming process.
