WELDABILITY OF EN 10219 PIPE
BRISK STEEL are specified in this European standard. EN 1011-1 and EN 1011-2 specify the main standards for welding products under this European standard.
When welding these products, the greatest danger is the development of cold cracking in the welded zone as the product thickness, strength level, and CEV rise. Cold cracking is a result of a combination of the following factors:
• elevated diffusible hydrogen levels in the weld metal;
• a brittle structure in the heat-affected zone;
• and large tensile stress concentrations in the welded joint

Each of the square and rectangular hollow sections shall be marked with the following information.
• Specification designation
• Grade letter
• Dimension
• Heat number
• Other customers requirement
