What Is High Pressure LSAW Pipe?

 

  • High-pressure LSAW pipe is a longitudinal submerged arc welded steel pipe optimized for extreme pressure pipeline systems. Different from spiral welded pipes, it adopts whole steel plate forming process, with single straight weld seam welded by internal and external multi-pass submerged arc welding. The entire production process includes plate trimming, precision JCOE/UOE cold forming, stress relief treatment, full-body non-destructive testing (NDT), and cold expansion calibration, ensuring uniform wall thickness, stable mechanical properties and zero weld defects.

 

  • Thanks to deep weld penetration, low residual stress and excellent pressure-bearing capacity, LSAW steel pipe perfectly adapts to long-term high-pressure, cyclic load and harsh environmental working conditions, effectively avoiding pipeline leakage, deformation and rupture risks, which is irreplaceable for key high-pressure pipeline projects.
