Size Range
- EN10210 tolerances for hot finished circular, square, rectangular and elliptical structuralhollow sections, manufactured in wall thicknesses up to 120mm, in the following size ranges:
一 Circular:Outside diameters up to 2 500 mm;
一 Square:Outside dimensions up to 800mm×800 mm;
一 Rectangular:Outside dimensions upto 750 mm×500 mm;
一 Elliptical:Outside dimensions up to 500 mm×250 mm.
- ASTM A501 This specification covers black and hot-dipped galvanized hot-formed welded and seamless carbon steel square,round,rectangular, or special shape structural tubing for welded, riveted, or bolted construction of bridges and buildings, and for general structural purposes.
一 Circular: Outside diameters 1 to 48 in / 25 to 1220 mm; wall thicknesses 0.095 to 4 in / 2.5 to 100mm
一 Square and Rectangular : Outside diameters 1 to 16 inch / 25 to 405 mm; wall thicknesses 0.095 to 1 inch / 2.5 to 25 mm
Heat Treatment
- The essence of heat treatment is to heat the pipe material to a specific temperature and hold it, then cool it at a predetermined rate. This process optimizes performance by altering the grain structure and organizational form within the steel, thereby enhancing the overall mechanical properties of the pipe.
- Enhance mechanical properties: By refining the grains, the yield strength, tensile strength, and low-temperature impact toughness of the pipes are simultaneously optimized, making them particularly suitable for harsh conditions such as low temperatures and heavy loads.
- Eliminate internal stress: prevent deformation and cracking during subsequent processing, and improve structural stability.
- Enhanced corrosion resistance: When combined with subsequent surface treatments such as galvanizing and painting, it can improve coating adhesion and extend the service life of the pipes.
