hot rolled hollow sections commonly have a larger cross section than the cold formed hollow sections. The advantages of hot rolled hollow sections increase together with larger wall thicknesses. This practically means that having the same dimensions of cold and hot hollow sections, it is possible to assume larger loads in case of the hot rolled hollow sections. In other words, assuming identical strains, larger safety level can be achieved.
Grades: Our offer includes hot rolled hollow sections in the standard grade S355J2H, but also in grades, such as: S355J0H, S420NH, S460NH and S460NLH S420NLH S355K2H S275J2H S275J0H S235JRH.
Dimension range: we offer the following hollow sections:
Square from 40x40mm up to 1200x1200mm (larger dimensions to be confirmed),
Rectangular from 50x30mm up to 500x300mm (larger dimensions to be confirmed),
Wall thickness (depending on the external dimensions) from 1.5mm up to 60mm,
